On Saturday, March 22nd, Directors Michael Curtis and Joanna O'Neill joined other exhibitors at the University of Leicester’s Celebration of Heritage. Held in the Percy Gee Building’s main hall on campus, this public event showcased some of the exciting heritage sites, organizations, and activities from Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. It was a busy day filled with conversations with people eager to learn more about the past. Visitors had the chance to view and handle objects from archaeological digs, as well as purchase realistic replicas.
For us, it was a fantastic opportunity to promote our current course offerings, as well as some new short courses we’re developing, and to listen to attendees’ suggestions for other courses they might be interested in. Throughout the day, we were entertained by the University band, Morris dancers, and even a curious dragon that roamed and weaved through the exhibition hall.
